Welcome to my blog! If you're following the SUDSOL Blog Tour you have arrived from Christyne Richardson's Blog.
Are you a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and like me (I need all the help I can get), SUDSOL is the place to be! I joined SUDSOL shortly after I became a demonstrator in 2002. Even if you have a working Upline, SUDSOL is a wonderful place to get creative ideas, business help and also have a supportive group of Demonstrators cheering you on. SUDSOL offers a FREE 2 week trial membership and I can't recommend it enough. Click the blinking SUDSOL icon on the right side of my blog to sign-up for your FREE trial.
I have several projects to share with you. One of my favorite accessories in the Occasions Mini are the Beveled Windowpanes on page 28.

This card uses the Easter Blossom Stamp Set, Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper and of course, the largest Beveled Windowpane.
The base of the card is Very Vanilla Card Stock (4 1/4" x 8 1/2"), folded in half.
The Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper (2 1/4" x 5 1/2") is punched using the Scallop Border Punch.
Stamp the egg in Rose Red on a piece of 1" x 1 3/8" Very Vanilla Card Stock. You need to wait a few minutes to be sure the ink is dry before moving on to the next step.
When the egg piece is dry, place a little bit of Crystal Effects on the back side of the Beveled Windowpane, just in the middle and spread this out to cover the inside area. Now attach the stamped Egg piece, egg side to the crystal effect. Be sure there are no air bubbles. Wait until dry. If you used just a little bit, about 10 minutes.
Now you can adhere the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper to the back with just a small amount of Crystal Effects on the back of the Egg piece.
I then used the Always Artichoke Seam Binding to attach the Beveled Windowpane to the front of the card.

Here's a close up. Loop the seam binding around the card front. I secured the loose ends on the backside and covered it with another piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock. To make it easier to place, I put Mini Glue Dots on the back of the Beveled Windowpane, placed it exactly where I wanted it and then tied the seam binding in place.

If you don't want to mess with the double row of seam binding and the extra piece of card stock for the inside, you can just tie the seam binding in a knot on the front of the card.
Here's a closer look.

Another idea for the Easter Blossom Stamp Set is very easy.

Can you tell that the Springtime Vintage Designer Series Paper is my favorite right now? LOL.
Stamp Set: Easter Blossoms
Not Quite Navy Card Stock: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" - folded, 2 1/4" x 1 1/4", 3 3/4" square - cut large Scallop Circle using the Scallop Circle #2 Die Cut
Baja Breeze Card Stock: 3 1/2" square - cut 3" Circle Die Cut
Very Vanilla Card Stock: 2" x 1"
Springtime Vintage DSP: 4" x 5 1/4"
Ink: Classic Not Quite Navy
Accessories: Scallop Circle #2 Die Cut, 3" Circle Die Cut, Big Shot, 6 1/2" - Baja Breeze Seam Binding, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stamp-A-Ma Jig, Snail
I used the Stamp-A-Ma Jig to stamp the girl and the words. Layer everything and attach using snail.
Before you secure the DSP to the front of the card, secure the Baja Breeze Seam Binding to the DSP.
Now you can attach the stamped and layered words to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I am always looking for a quick little gift to give. You know, a thank you to the Doctor's Receptionist that got me into see the Doctor the same day I called. The hardest part about making this is having the Kit Kats on hand! I am sooo tempted to eat them. Okay, I eat them and have to buy more.
All you need to make this Candy Wrapper is your favorite Designer Series Paper, Ribbon and something to decorate the front with. Oh and a Kit Kat bar.
Take a piece of 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper. I used the Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper & Quick Accents Pack that is available as a Sale-A-Bration Free Product.
Wrap the paper around the Kit Kat bar and leave the same amount of paper on either end. Secure with snail.
Insert one end into the Crimper and crimp the end. You just turn the knob until the crimper hits the candy bar. Do the other end too. Honest, it crimps the ends closed and they are very secured.
I added approximately 12" of 5/8" wide Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon and tied it into a bow.
Stamp the words in Old Olive Ink onto the Scallop Circle Piece. The words are from the Level 1 Hostess Set, Silhouette Sentiments.
Place the stamped Scallop Circle Piece onto the front of the candy bar wrapper and add the flower piece from the Quick Accents Pack.
Sure hope you liked my projects. If you did, join SUDSOL! After you activate your membership you can view my gallery, Paper Mechanic.
Again, thank you so much for visiting.
I have a pack of the Beveled Windowpanes that could be yours when you leave a comment on this post. I will pick a winner on Thursday, February 3.
Now onward to the next stop!
